Each child grows at an individual pace, though research shows a child's first three years are the most crucial time for learning. Attaining any additionally needed support early on puts your child on the right path to learn and develop at their full potential.
If your child is between the ages of birth and 34 & 1/2 months of age and you are concerned they may have a developmental delay or disability, contact Space Coast Early Steps (SCES) today!
SCES providers use a coaching model. We have Developmental Specialists, Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists who collaborate with you the parent/caregiver on what is most important to you to help make the most gains for your child and family. Services take place in child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community) so that strategies are blended into your daily routine/location.
While services are not at a cost to you, with permission, SCES will access Medicaid and/or private Insurance to ensure that the Federal Part C dollars are a payer of last resort.
